TRENTON (Sept. 13, 2018) – New Jersey Lottery Acting Executive Director James Carey is urging New Jersey Lottery players to get their Pick-6 game tickets as early as possible in advance of the Thursday, September 13 drawing for the $16.7 million jackpot.

This is the largest Pick-6 jackpot since June 2014, and the fourth largest in 10 years. The jackpot has been growing since February 19, 2018 and is ready to be won soon by a lucky New Jersey Lottery player. This is definitely a big jackpot for the Pick-6 game and Lottery retailers will, no doubt, be extra busy tomorrow, so players should get there early and beat the rush!

Since the first Pick-6 ticket was sold on May 9, 1980, this game continues to be a popular lottery game in New Jersey, providing exciting opportunities for players to win millions of dollars with drawings held twice a week - on Monday and Thursday evenings.

Each Pick-6 game ticket costs just one dollar per play! For an additional one dollar, players can add the XTRA feature which increases non-jackpot prizes by the multiplier number drawn. XTRA also adds a $2 prize for matching just two of the six numbers drawn. Players get a chance at the Pick-6 XTRA jackpot by selecting six numbers from a field of 1 to 49 or they can opt for a Quick Pick.
