WLA Level 4 Certification

The New Jersey Lottery is committed to the responsible sale of Lottery products. The Lottery's marketing, advertising, game design, sales, and promotions teams all support responsible gaming through the Lottery's advertising campaigns, products available to players, interaction with retailers and players, and various promotions held throughout the state. The New Jersey Lottery has demonstrated its significant accomplishments in responsible gaming by achieving the World Lottery Associations Level 4 Certification in Responsible Gaming. This certification is the most comprehensive measure of responsible play among lotteries in the industry. The New Jersey Lottery was first granted this certification in 2016, was recertified in 2019 and 2022, and will continue to uphold the most thorough and complete responsible gaming initiatives for the entirety of the Lottery's tenure.

NASPL/NCPG Responsible Gaming


The Lottery has demonstrated its significant accomplishments in responsible gaming by achieving the Sustaining Level, the highest tier, of the NASPL/NCPG Responsible Gambling Verification Standards Certification. The Lottery was first granted this certification in 2022 and recertified in 2023, and will continue to uphold the most thorough and complete responsible gaming initiatives for the regular recertification of the NASPL/NCPG Responsible Gambling Verification Standards.
