TRENTON (Dec. 18, 2018) – A very fortunate Hudson County lottery player can enjoy this holiday season and start the new year as a multi-millionaire. One ticket matched all six numbers drawn for the Monday, Dec. 17 Pick -6 XTRA drawing winning the $29.5 million annuity jackpot. The cash value of the ticket is $20.87 million. That winning ticket was sold in Hudson County at Eddy’s Wine & Liquor, 490 Avenue C in Bayonne. The lucky retailer will receive a bonus of $10,000 for selling that winning ticket.

The winning numbers for the Monday, Dec. 17 drawing were: 09, 12, 15, 18, 27 and 34. The XTRA Multiplier was: 03. The jackpot for the Pick-6 XTRA game has reset to $2 million. The next drawing will be held Thursday, Dec. 20.

In addition to the jackpot winner, Carey reported that for correctly matching five out of the six white balls drawn, 24 ticketholders won $2,197 each and 5 others won $6,591 each by adding the XTRA feature to their purchase. As well, thousands of other prizewinning tickets were sold.

Acting Executive Director James Carey announced that there were 1,054,882 tickets purchased for the drawing. By adding XTRA, for an additional $1.00 per play, winners are able to multiply their non-jackpot prizes by the XTRA number drawn. For correctly matching four numbers, 1,155 ticketholders won $44 each and 156 others won $132 each with the addition of XTRA. Moreover, for correctly matching three numbers, 18,878 ticketholders won $3.00 each and 2,579 others won $9 each with the addition of XTRA. Lastly, 17,494 ticketholders each won $2.00 for correctly matching two numbers with the addition of XTRA on their purchase.

New Jersey economy wins every time lottery tickets are purchased. In this Pick-6 game-roll, more than 2.23 lottery players have won nearly $35 million in prizes, retailers have received over $3.4 million in commissions, and better than $28.8 million has been generated in contributions to the State.
