Powerball Jackpot Rolls to $229,000,000 For Wednesday’s Drawing
Thousands of New Jersey Players Win Prizes
TRENTON (Oct. 1, 2018) – The Powerball jackpot has rolled to $229 million! Although no one won the jackpot in the September 29th drawing, 30,484 New Jersey players took home an estimated $151,825 in prizes ranging from $4 to $200, according to Lottery Acting Executive Director James Carey.
The winning numbers for the Saturday, September 29 drawing were: 09, 17, 34, 59 and 64. The Red Power Ball number was 22. The Multiplier number was 02.
“Congratulations to all of the lottery players who purchased winning tickets and to the retailers that sold them,” said Carey. “I’d like to remind players to purchase their Powerball tickets with a winning attitude and add Power Play to the ticket purchase. Power Play doubles the second prize from one million dollars to two million dollars and multiplies all of the seven lower prize sets available in the game by the number drawn that evening. The jackpot prize is not multiplied.” The Powerball jackpot rolls to $229,000,000 for the next drawing to be held Wednesday, Oct. 3rd at 10:59 pm.
