PICK-6 $9.5 MILLION JACKPOT TICKET SOLD IN ESSEX COUNTY
TRENTON (Oct. 1, 2019) – One lucky ticket matched all six numbers drawn for the Monday, Sept. 30, Pick-6 drawing winning the $9.5 million annuity jackpot. The cash value of the ticket is more than $7.5 million. The winning ticket was sold at Pilot Travel Center #1098, 400 Doremus Ave., Newark in Essex County. The lucky retailer will receive a bonus of $10,000 for selling that winning ticket.
The winning numbers for the Monday, Sept. 30, drawing were: 14, 22, 26, 29, 36 and 48. The XTRA Multiplier was: 03. The jackpot for the Pick-6 game has reset to $2 million. The next drawing will be held Thursday, Oct. 3.
Acting Executive Director James Carey said, “I look forward to meeting the winner of this significant jackpot prize and learning how it may impact their life.”
In addition to the jackpot winner, Carey reported that for correctly matching five out of the six white balls drawn, ten ticketholders won $3,382 each. Four of those tickets were purchased with XTRA, multiplying the prize to $10,146. In addition, thousands of other prizewinning tickets were sold.
Acting Executive Director James Carey announced that there were 676,452 tickets purchased for the drawing. By adding XTRA, for an additional $1.00 per play, winners are able to multiply their non-jackpot prizes by the XTRA number drawn. For correctly matching four numbers, 511 ticketholders won $63 each and 72 others won $189 each with the addition of XTRA. Moreover, for correctly matching three numbers, 9,443 ticketholders won $3.00 each and 1,266 others won $9 each with the addition of XTRA. Lastly, 10,177 ticketholders each won $2.00 for correctly matching two numbers with the addition of XTRA on their purchase.
