TRENTON (July 20, 2023) – One California Lottery player won the $1.08 billion Powerball jackpot from the Wednesday, July 19, drawing. This was the third largest Powerball jackpot and the seventh largest U.S. lottery jackpot in history. The cash value is $558 million. Two New Jersey Lottery tickets matched five of the five white balls drawn winning the $1,000,000 second-tier prize. Those tickets were sold at the following locations:

• Bergen County: Metro Liquor, 100 Broadway, Elmwood Park; and,
• Essex County: Galaxy Liquors, 410-412 Central Ave., Orange.

In addition to the second-tier prize winners, 12 New Jersey Lottery tickets matched four of the five white balls and the Power Ball drawn winning the $50,000 third-tier prize. One of those tickets was purchased with Power Play, multiplying the prize to $100,000. Those tickets were sold at the following locations:

• Morris County: BJ’s Wholesale Club #48, 1 Howard Blvd., Ledgewood;
• Ocean County: 7-Eleven #27497, 701 Route 88, Point Pleasant;
• Passaic County: Jackpocket, 355 Warwick Turnpike, Hewitt;
• Passaic County: USA Wine Traders Club, 207 Ringwood Ave., Wanaque; and,
• Somerset County: Royal Farms #299, 1 North Main St., Manville.

The winning numbers for the Wednesday, July 19, drawing were: 07, 10, 11, 13, and 24. The Red Power Ball number was 24. The Power Play was 2X. 225,345 other New Jersey players took home an estimated $1,193,509 in prizes ranging from $4 to $200. The Powerball jackpot resets to $20,000,000 for the next drawing to be held Saturday, July 22, at 10:59 pm.

Double Play Results

One New Jersey Lottery ticket matched four of the five white balls and the Double Play ball drawn winning the $50,000 third-tier Double Play prize. That ticket was sold at Kresson News, 1225 Haddonfield Berlin Rd. Suite 3, Voorhees in Camden County. The Double Play drawing is an additional drawing for players who opted-in to the Double Play feature on their tickets. The Double Play drawing results for the Wednesday, July 19, drawing were: 13, 15, 28, 43, and 57. The Double Play Ball number was 25.
