TRENTON (July 28, 2023) – New Jersey’s meatiest Scratch-Off has found its first big winner, Brian Kohler of Trenton, who made his way to lottery headquarters recently to celebrate his birthday in the rarest of ways.

Brian, who bought the ticket while on his way to work, originally didn’t even realize that it was a winner. After scratching the ticket, Brian scanned it with the NJ lottery app as usual and couldn’t believe when the screen showed that won $200,000! He immediately called his wife; she thought he was joking and took a few minutes to fully realize the good news. The first thing Brian plans to do with his winnings is replace his 23-year-old Chevrolet Suburban with a newer model. After that, he will put the new funds towards his family and retirement.
