TRENTON (October 6, 2025) – The Jersey Cash 5 jackpot is the draw game that boasts the most winning jackpots in the New Jersey Lottery. Indeed, there have been 51 jackpots won this year with nine exceeding $1 million. But no jackpot has been quite like the one that is currently rolling.

Heading into tonight’s daily drawing, the Jersey Cash 5 jackpot is at about $3.42 million, a record high for the game. Among all draw games to New Jersey Lottery players, the Jersey Cash 5 has the best odds of winning a jackpot at one in 1.2 million.

Only three times this decade has a Cash 5 jackpot exceeded $2 million:

• $2.03 million, won in Hudson County, January 23, 2021;
• $2.094 million, split in Hudson and Mercer counties, May 26, 2023;
• $2.4 million, Monmouth County, October 3, 2024.

“My favorite thing about the Jersey Cash 5 game is that we average more than one jackpot won every week,” New Jersey Lottery Executive Director James Carey said. “When it gets to something this high, you can just feel the excitement in the air.”

The Jersey Cash 5 game isn’t alone in offering high jackpots:

• Mega Millions: $547 Million jackpot. Next drawing is Tuesday. In April, the game updated its rules to include a free multiplier. In June, a Bergen County player saw their $1 million prize jump to $4 million thanks to the multiplier. There have been four jackpots won this year across the country in the multi-state game. In May, a Mercer County player uncovered a four-month old Mega Millions ticket. After checking the numbers, the player realized it was worth $1 million.
• Powerball: After players in Texas and Missouri split a $1.8 billion jackpot in early September, the multi-state game has spent the past month climbing and is at $207 million heading into tonight’s drawing.
• Pick-6: The jackpot is at $18.5 million, the second highest of 2025. This year’s big wins were of $32 million, $5.9 million and $5.5 million. The game has recently added a third weekly drawing, and the next is tonight.
• Cash4Life: The daily draw game offers “for life” prizes of $1,000 day for life and $1,000 week for life, with cash value options of $7 million and $1 million respectively. In 2025, one player has won the $7 million prize and five have each won $1 million, including the prize won Thursday at a Cranford Krauser’s in Union County.
