TRENTON (October 28, 2025) – An Ocean County Lottery player using the Jackpocket app matched all five white balls, missing just the Gold Mega Ball, to win $3 million in Tuesday’s Mega Millions drawing.

The winning numbers were 17, 26, 33, 45 and 56. The Gold Mega Ball was 19. Nobody in the multi-state game won the jackpot, which is now $575 million heading into Friday’s drawing.

The New Jersey player received the X3 multiplier and saw the $1 million base prize triple. In April, the game updated its rules to include a free multiplier. Tuesday’s win is the second big boost for a New Jersey player since the rules were changed. In June, a Bergen County player’s $1 million prize jumped to $4 million thanks to the multiplier.
