TRENTON (August 8, 2025) – Several New Jersey Lottery games are primed for big wins heading into this weekend.

The Powerball jackpot is closing in on the half-billion dollar mark at an estimated $482 million heading into Saturday’s drawing.

The jackpot is the second highest of the year. In 2025, four Powerball jackpots have been won, with only one exceeding $500 million. They were hit on Jan. 18, $328.5 million, Oregon; March 29, $526.5 million, California; April 26, $167.3 million, Kentucky; May 31, $204.5 million, California.

The Powerball game isn’t alone in offering big prizes as other games are in notable territory:

• The daily Jersey Cash 5 game is nearing rarified air as the jackpot closes in on $1 million at $921,000. Of the game’s 41 jackpots won this year, just six have topped $1 million.
• The Pick-6 game’s jackpot is at $7.9 million, the second highest of 2025. This year’s big wins were of $32 million, $5.9 million and $5.5 million. The game has recently added a third weekly draw, and the next is Saturday.
• The Mega Millions jackpot is at about $166 million before tonight’s draw. In April, the game updated its rules to include a free multiplier. In June, a Bergen County player saw their $1 million prize jump to $4 million thanks to the multiplier. There have been four jackpots won this year in the multi-state game.
• Scratch-Off games are also boasting some big prizes. The $5,000,000 Fortune game, which features a $5 million award, has two top prizes remaining. The Millionaire Maker has one of its $2 million top prizes still available.
