TRENTON (May 7, 2025) – The New Jersey Lottery’s popular Green Ball promotion is back for the daily draw game through June 1.

Nightly after the evening’s Pick-3 drawing concludes, an additional drawing is held from a separate machine that holds six white balls and one Green Ball. One of the following scenarios will then happen:

• If a white ball is drawn, it will be removed from the next night’s drawing. A white ball will be removed after each nightly drawing until a Green Ball is selected.
• When a Green Ball is selected, a subsequent Pick-3 drawing is held, giving players a free chance with their same set of numbers.
• Once the Green Ball is selected, all six white balls and the one Green Ball will be added back for the next night’s process.

The New Jersey Lottery’s homepage will let players know the number of white balls remaining for the nightly draw.
