TRENTON (April 13, 2018) – One lucky ticket matched all five numbers drawn winning the $785,212 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot from the Thursday, April 12 drawing. The winning numbers were:  04, 18, 23, 36 and 38 and the XTRA number was: 05. The lucky retailer that sold the winning ticket is Welsh Farms Speedy Mart, 160 Mountain Ave., Springfield in Union County.  

Acting Executive Director John M. White said, “We are thrilled that the winning jackpot ticket was sold at Welsh Farms Speedy Mart. The retailer will receive a bonus check for $2,000 for selling the winning ticket. Overnight, they have become one more ‘lucky location’ for the very fortunate lottery winner.”  

White announced that there were 744,691 tickets purchased for the drawing. By adding XTRA, for an additional $1.00 per play, winners are able to multiply their non-jackpot prizes by the XTRA number drawn. For correctly matching four of the five numbers drawn, 122 ticketholders won $548 each and 12 others won $2,740 each with the addition of XTRA. Moreover, for correctly matching three of the five numbers drawn, 4,665 ticketholders won $15 each and 675 others won $75 each with the addition of XTRA. Lastly 8,164 ticketholders each won $2 for correctly matching two of the five numbers drawn with the addition of XTRA on their purchase.
