JOINT PRESS CONFERENCE FOCUSING ON PROBLEM GAMBLING
TRENTON (August 3, 2018) – The New Jersey Lottery has teamed up with the Council on Compulsive Gambling of New Jersey, Inc. (CCGNJ) to launch the Lottery’s 2018 “Not 18 Yet? No Bet” Annual Awareness Campaign, which seeks to remind residents and retailers that New Jersey law prohibits the sale of lottery tickets to anyone under the age of 18.
As part of this campaign, both organizations are placing renewed emphasis on their continued commitment to responsible play and the prevention of underage gambling. This campaign is held each year to coincide with the American Gaming Association’s Annual Responsible Gaming Education Week, scheduled this year Aug. 6 – Aug. 10, 2018.
