TRENTON (March 26, 2019) – One lucky ticket matched all five numbers drawn winning the $249,286 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot from the Monday, March 25th drawing. The winning numbers were: 08, 15, 19, 21 and 28 and the XTRA number was: 03. The lucky retailer that sold the winning ticket is PJ’s Car Wash, 2000 Route 35 & Allaire Rd., Spring Lake Heights in Monmouth County.

Acting Executive Director James Carey said, “We are thrilled that the winning jackpot ticket was sold at PJ’s Car Wash. The retailer will receive a bonus check for $2,000 for selling the winning ticket. Overnight, they have become one more ‘lucky location’ for the very fortunate lottery winner.”

Carey announced that there were 366,432 tickets purchased for the drawing. By adding XTRA, for an additional $1.00 per play, winners are able to multiply their non-jackpot prizes by the XTRA number drawn. For correctly matching four of the five numbers drawn, 95 ticketholders won $309 each and 22 others won $927 each with the addition of XTRA. Moreover, for correctly matching three of the five numbers drawn, 2,783 ticketholders won $12 each and 515 others won $36 each with the addition of XTRA. Lastly 5,795 ticketholders each won $2 for correctly matching two of the five numbers drawn with the addition of XTRA on their purchase.
