Newark Lottery Retailer Receives $10,000 Bonus Check
Pilot Travel Center Sold the Winning Pick-6 Jackpot Ticket
TRENTON (Oct. 7, 2019) – James Carey, New Jersey Lottery acting executive director, today visited Pilot Travel Center #1098 on 400 Doremus Ave., Newark in Essex County. Carey presented store officials with a ceremonial check for $10,000 representing the bonus commission the store receives for selling the winning $9,500,000 Pick-6 jackpot ticket from the Monday, September 30, drawing.

The win has made this location a very popular place, which from now on will be known as a lucky Lottery store,” Carey said. “Our retailer network is a very important part of New Jersey Lottery sales and we are excited that Pilot Travel Center was able to sell the winning Pick-6 jackpot ticket. The winning numbers for the Monday, September 30, drawing were: 14, 22, 26, 29, 36, and 48. This is the third time the Pick-6 jackpot has been hit in 2019, and the biggest jackpot of the year. The jackpot for Pick-6 rolled 44 times and awarded over $5.3 million in prizes to over 850,000 New Jersey Lottery players.
