One New Jersey Lottery Ticket Wins $150,000
and One Ticket Wins $50,000 as
Powerball Jackpot Rolls to $80,000,000
TRENTON (Feb. 27, 2020) – Two New Jersey Lottery tickets sold that matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball drawn for the Wednesday, Feb. 26, drawing winning the $50,000 third-tier prize. One of those tickets was purchased with Powerplay, multiplying the prize to $150,000. The winning tickets from Wednesday night’s drawing were sold at the following locations:
- Essex County ($150,000): 7-Eleven #38268, 216 Belleville Ave., Belleville; and
- Sussex County ($50,000): Acme #1787,455 Route 23 North, Sussex.
The winning numbers for the Wednesday, Feb. 26, drawing were: 08, 27, 29, 36 and 47. The Red Power Ball number was 24. The Multiplier number was 03. In addition to the third-tier prizewinning tickets sold, there were 19,635 New Jersey players who took home an estimated $113,344 in prizes ranging from $4 to $300, according to Lottery Executive Director James Carey. The Powerball jackpot rolls to $80,000,000 for the next drawing to be held Saturday, Feb. 29, at 10:59 pm.
