NJ Lottery Office Open by Appointment Only
TRENTON (April 8, 2021) – The New Jersey Lottery Headquarters in Lawrence remains open by appointment only.
Eligible claimants should call the NJ Lottery at 1-800-222-0996 to schedule an appointment Monday through Friday during normal business hours. Players without appointments will not be accepted at this time. Claimants are required to wear a mask or face covering when visiting the office.
The Lottery does not immediately pay players who come to the Lottery offices to validate winning tickets. If a player files a claim by mail or at Lottery headquarters, players should expect to receive payment by check in approximately six weeks.
In addition to mailing, players can personally deliver claims to Lottery Headquarters using the drop box located next to the lobby at our Headquarters in Lawrence. The drop box is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Claims less than $599.99 can still be immediately redeemed at any retailer. Claims of $600 or more can still be mailed in and will be processed in the regular course of business. Winners should make copies of their signed ticket and claim form before placing it in the mail. All properly validated mailed claims will be paid.

Retailers who are hand-delivering payments to the Lottery should still make an appointment with a Lottery representative before traveling to Lottery headquarters.
