TRENTON (Jan. 4, 2022) – Two big jackpots keep climbing in 2022, with tonight’s Mega Millions jackpot increased to $253 million and tomorrow’s Powerball jackpot increased to $610 million!

The $610 million Powerball jackpot now ranks as the 7th largest in Powerball history and boasts a cash value of $434.2 million. The Powerball jackpot was last hit in October for $699.8 million, and the jackpot has been rolling since then looking for its next winner. The addition of a third weekly drawing (Monday evenings) has helped boost the rate at which the jackpot rolls over.

Tonight’s Mega Millions jackpot has been increased from $244 million to $253 million, with a cash value of $175.6 million. The Mega Millions jackpot was last hit in October for $108 million.
