Thousands of New Jersey Players Win Prizes

TRENTON (Sept. 1, 2022) – One New Jersey Lottery ticket matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball drawn for the Wednesday, August 31, drawing winning the $50,000 third-tier prize. That ticket was sold at ShopRite Essex Green SC, 495 Prospect Ave., West Orange in Essex County.

The winning numbers for the Wednesday, August 31, drawing were: 07, 08, 19, 24, and 28. The Red Power Ball number was 01. The Power Play was 2X. There were 16,021 other New Jersey players who took home an estimated $92,248 in prizes ranging from $4 to $200. The Powerball jackpot rolls to $148,000,000 for the Saturday, September 3, drawing.
