A Combined $1.435 Billion in Jackpots Up for Grabs this Weekend

TRENTON (July 14, 2023) – Dollar by dollar, side by side, across the entire length and width of the New Jersey Turnpike… and you still couldn’t fit all of the jackpot money up for grabs in Mega Millions and Powerball jackpots this weekend.

We checked in with the New Jersey Turnpike Authority and you could fit a maximum of $1,382,211,601 dollar bills squeezed onto the scorching hot asphalt side by side. With Friday’s Mega Millions jackpot of $560,000,000 and Saturday’s Powerball jackpot of $875,000,000, you’d be hard-pressed to fit it all $1,435,000,000 on our most iconic roadway – but we don’t recommend using the prize this way.
