One California Ticket Wins $1.765 Billion Powerball Jackpot
One New Jersey Player Won $100,000 and Seven More Won $50,000
TRENTON (Oct. 12, 2023) – One California Lottery player won the $1.765 billion Powerball jackpot from the Wednesday, October 11, drawing. This was the second largest Powerball and U.S. lottery jackpot in history. The cash value is $774.1 million. Eight New Jersey Lottery tickets matched four of the five white balls and the Power Ball drawn winning the $50,000 third-tier prize. One of those tickets was purchased with Power Play, multiplying the prize to $100,000. Those tickets were sold at the following locations:
The winning numbers for the Wednesday, October 11, drawing were: 22, 24, 40, 52, and 64. The Red Power Ball number was 10. The Power Play was 2X. 248,986 other New Jersey players took home an estimated $1,239,588 in prizes ranging from $4 to $200. The Powerball jackpot resets to $20,000,000 for the next drawing to be held Saturday, October 14, at 10:59 pm.
