NEW JERSEY LOTTERY VIP CLUB ALERT-TEXT PROGRAMS TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The New Jersey Lottery VIP Club provides its members with the opportunity to enroll in various SMS and MMS text messaging programs, which programs may include, among other things, jackpot alerts, sweepstakes and opt-in drawings, surveys, and coupons and other promotional offers.  These New Jersey Lottery VIP Club Alert-Text Programs Terms and Conditions ("Terms and Conditions") apply to your enrollment and participation in any one (1) or more of these text messaging programs.

To enroll in one (1) or more text messaging programs offered by the New Jersey Lottery VIP Club, VIP Club members should visit:  www.njlottery.com/vipclub.  Once on the webpage, you should log into your individual VIP Club Account. If not already a member, select JOIN NOW to register. Once logged into your VIP Club Account, go to the MY PREFERENCES tab and update your personal preferences within the Text Section, by selecting the desired text messaging program(s) in which you would like to participate.  Once you have selected the desired options, you must opt-in via your cellphone to receive SMS and MMS text messages from the New Jersey Lottery VIP Club. 

To opt-in to receive SMS and MMS text messages from the New Jersey Lottery VIP Club for the selected text messaging program(s), text "JOIN" to 26185.  The New Jersey Lottery will not charge you to enroll in the text messaging program(s), however, messaging and data rates may apply. Please review your wireless service plan and consult with your wireless service carrier.

Frequency of SMS and MMS text messages sent by the New Jersey Lottery VIP Club will vary depending on the text messaging program(s) that you have opted into.  By providing your mobile number and voluntarily choosing to opt-in to a text messaging program(s) offered by the New Jersey Lottery VIP Club, you are authorizing the New Jersey Lottery VIP Club to send you marketing SMS and MMS text messages at the mobile number you provided, and you understand that your consent to receive SMS and MMS text messages is not required as a condition to make a New Jersey Lottery purchase.  SMS and MMS text messages may be sent by automatic telephone dialing system.  Please see the below table for expected frequency of SMS and MMS text messages for each text message program offered by the New Jersey Lottery VIP Club.  Message and data rates may apply.

You may STOP receiving SMS and MMS text messages from the New Jersey Lottery VIP Club at any time by texting "STOP" to 26185. By texting STOP, you agree to one (1) additional confirmation message stating that you have opted out and will no longer receive SMS and MMS text messages from the New Jersey Lottery VIP Club.  Please note that doing so will prevent you from receiving ANY further New Jersey Lottery VIP Club Alerts on your mobile device.  For additional help, email vipclub@njlottery.com, call toll free 877-789-4935, or text "HELP" to 26185.

By opting-in to a text campaign program(s) offered by the New Jersey Lottery VIP Club, you certify that: (a) you are 18 years of age at the time of opt-in; and (b) you are the authorized account holder of the mobile number used to opt-in to a text campaign program(s) or that you have the permission to opt-in to a text campaign program(s) from the authorized account holder (who has read and agreed to these Terms and Conditions) of the mobile number used to opt-in.

The New Jersey Lottery VIP Club text campaign programs are available with the following carriers:  AT&T, T-Mobile®, Sprint and Verizon Wireless wireless networks. Access to a text campaign program(s) through the networks of other mobile services providers will be added as they become available. Pre-paid users may not be able to participate in a text campaign program(s).  Check with your mobile operator.  The text campaign program(s) are not compatible with all cell phone models.  The New Jersey Lottery is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages to the customer.  T-Mobile® is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

The New Jersey Lottery respects your privacy.  The New Jersey Lottery Privacy Policy can be accessed by visiting: https://www.njlottery.com/en-us/lottery/privacypolicy.html.  By enrolling in one (1) or more text campaign programs offered by the New Jersey Lottery VIP Club, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, the official rules of a particular text campaign program, if applicable, and the New Jersey Lottery Privacy Policy.

The Lottery reserves the right to make changes to its Privacy Policy and these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice to you.  All changes will be posted to https://www.njlottery.com/en-us/lottery/privacypolicy.html and https://www.njlottery.com/en-us/lottery/termsconditions.html
